Hi All,
It has ben raining here so I took the time out to conduct some long overdue updating to my collection database. I found medals that I didn't know I had, some that I had forgotten about and a couple that I wished I hadn't purchased.
Farr Serjt. Thomas D. Anderson was one that I had forgotten about. The medal with clasps Tug.Hts & RoL came with some excellent research by Meurig. He later served with 2/K.F.S. as no 17 and earned the C.C., O.F.S., Trans & S.A. 01 clasps.
The medal is loose on the suspender and has obviously been worn with pride for many years.
The UMR is a rarely seen unit and the medal is a valued member of my collection.
Cheers,
Jim
