Boer Mauser rifles - by: Borsak

Thought I'd add these to the forum, two pictures of a broken stocked boer Mauser brought back to Australia after that conflict. This particular rifle is a carbine version, inscribed with WD van Dyk and AJ Jacobs, from my initial search on your site I see a van Dyk and two AJ Jacobs. I also have a long rifle of same make and vintage, I would say brought home at the same time.

Any ideas on further avenues for research?
