Can anyone help or cast light on this SAC veteran, 2148 3rd Cl Tpr J J Coulson SAC![:cheer:]( ":cheer:")

While browsing thru some early info on Lenarbo village / Sand river bridge there is reference to the first policeman of the area now Virginia in the Free State Goldfields.
Constable JJ Coulson the Police station commander at Lenabo / Virginia siding between the end of the ABW and 1903.
Can anyone give info of where he enlisted with the SAC and any medal roll info.![:(]( ":(")
It'll help to fill in some gaps in the mystery.
